During an IGN interview in March, Star Wars Jedi: SurvivorGame Director Stig Asmussen said that the team felt confident it could finish the game with the original six-week delay. However, despite having the option to delay the game’s release one more time, the team at Respawn decided against it. Unfortunately, some people are questioning why the game was released on April 28 when, for many gamers, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has been riddled with serious problems, not just centered around performance but even just installing a legitimately purchased copy on PC. The reason given was that development was in the final stages, but the team needed additional time to add some polish and iron out performance and stability issues. However, in January, it was announced that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor would be delayed by six weeks. The game, which came out at the end of April 2023, was originally slated for a March 17 release. When given the option to delay Star Wars Jedi: Survivor a second time, the developers at Respawn Entertainment decided it didn’t need one. ![]()
